Attendance

Regular attendance is essential to successful schoolwork. Your student is expected to attend a minimum of 90% of the required school days as per district policy. However, no one should attempt to attend school when he/she is ill. In case of illness, parents are to telephone the school office as soon as possible or bring in a note from home stating the reason for the absence.

The school has a new program (POWER SCHOOL) that will keep track of attendance. Parents will be able to go on-line to check their child's attendance record by using a password. Parents will be notified when this becomes available.

Discipline

In order to have an optimum-learning environment, each teacher has established his or her rules/procedures to maintain discipline in the classroom (see individual teacher's rules for your child). Students will not be allowed to interrupt the educational process.

You are welcome to view a copy of our school's official Discipline Policies by clicking on the link here.

Homework

Homework will be assigned accordingly based on individual teacher's expectations. Each teacher will communicate with parents about missing or late assignments.

Progress Reports

Progress reports will be sent to the parents between each 9-week grading period.
